The Jerome Foundation is pleased to announce 9 grants totaling $530,136 to Minnesota-based arts organizations and initiatives to support opportunities for choreographers and dance makers at early stages in their careers. Grants were made to Ananya Dance Theater (ADT), Explore Choreo North, Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center (IRoots), MOVO, Red Eye Theater, Three Thirty One Space, The Cowles Center, Threads Dance Project and Walker Art Center.

Recommended by a multi-disciplinary panel comprised of artists and arts leaders and confirmed by the Jerome Board of Directors, this dynamic group of early-career artists—working across visual arts, music, literature, dance, and more—includes Janani Balasubramanian, Michael Kleber-Diggs, Amanda Krische, Ka Oskar Ly, Migiwa Miyajima, Michael Premo, Ashwini Ramaswamy, and Nicole Sealey.

Lara Mimosa Montes and Melissa Levin will join the Foundation in January 2022.
